CURRICULUM
The school curriculum is in line with the National Policies on Education taking cognizance of the new curriculum development with special focus on Vocation/Entrepreneurship.
We have also been approved by the following bodies.
1. The Lagos State Government
2. The Federal Government for both Junior and Senior N.E.C.O
3. West African Examination Council for Junior and Senior W.A.E.C
Our students are noted for excellent performance in all these examinations.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Pupils/students of Shesfun schools go on regular excursions to several places of interest in and outside the country. This has exposed the pupils/students to an outside-the-classroom environment in learning discoveries of different culture ethnically and internationally.
We also motivate the pupils/students to participate in the following accredited clubs/society, Jet club, home makers, young farmers, Cultural/Music, Scrabble, Taekwondo, Literary and Dramatic, Press club, Young Readers and Creative writers Club, Scout Association, Bridge and Red Cross.
COMPETITION
We train students to be ready to face academic challenges boldly at any given time to curtail nervousness in a competitive atmosphere. Regularly, the school organize inter-class quiz, debate, spelling bee, talks, talent hunt to groom our students for future inter-school competition in which we have featured in so many that were aired on radio and television e.g., ‘’Work it out’’ and we came out in flying colours.
SPORT
Pupils/students of Shesfun do not only regard sport as a form of re-creation but it develops and maintain mental alertness, physical fitness participation in events like Table-tennis, athletics, volleyball, calisthenics, jogging, basketball, aerobics, and indoor games like, chess, scrabble, Ludo, Ayo.
Students also participate in inter-school sport competition, inter-school competition by corporate organization and the school holds bi-annual inter-house sport that discover future talented sport men and women.
RELIGION
Shesfun schools is a non-racial, non-tribal secular institution. It caters for Christians and non-Christians alike.
TRANSPORTATION
The school run a transport system, purposely to alleviate the suffering that might be encountered by students coming from a long distance to the school.
HEALTH
The school provides first aid treatment in line with the injection by the Ministry of Education but affiliated to Hope Home Hospital, Ikotun, Lagos.
BOARDING FACILITY
Shesfun schools offers standard and highly comfortable boarding facility which is designed to be a home away from home. It is tastefully furnished with necessary amenities and gadget that will make them feel secured and well catered for. The environment is fully secured with security personnel and the hostels are managed/supervised by both teachers, house mistress and master who ensure boarders wellbeing, (physically, mentally, academically, and spiritually).
GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING
The school realizes there is a dire need to guide and counsel students not only academically but purposely to inculcate morals in our youths to evade the cankerworm of morals that is eating deep into the roots of our present society.
Therefore, we have a guidance counselor in the house coupled with in-house and invited resourceful person(s) to give seminars on different youthful topics.
ADMINISTRATION/STAFFING
Shesfun schools Management ensure adequate screening of certificates and conducts interview for incoming staff
that displays stiff competition before finally absolved into the system.
Teachers undergo periodic refresher courses seminar, workshop, re-training, evaluation and research, our asset lies on them.
